R-16 KOREA 2013 한국대표선발전 Korea Qualifiers (Korean B-boy Masters championship) were held at Uijeongbu Art Center in Gyeonggi province. It takes about 1 hour 20 minutes from Seoul to go there.
Main categories were
1- Popping
2- Locking
3- B-boy crew Battle
Popping Judges started show with their performance. First performance was awesome and cheered by crowd!
After that 1 vs. 1 elimination round was conducted. Surprisingly, there were few girls in competition too!
Next up was Locking session. It was more like a dance with hip-hop music. There were 4 girls competing in this session. They knocked out boys :)

Last and most exciting session was B-boy crew battle. It started off well with performance from judges ( especially african-americans)!

A special dance performance was give by Seoul sistaz. they outnumbered many girls groups in Korea :) I think more than 20+ girls danced in a synchronized way!

Towards the end of show, finals of each sessions were conducted. Winner of locking contest was Luna. She was crying while receiving prize :)
Star of SHOW was 'POCKET' from MORNING OF OWN Crew. Final battle was between Morning of Own and Drifterz Crew.
It was close and exciting contest. Judges had hard time choosing winner, however real difference maker was POCKET from Morning of Owl crew. He performed amazingly and stole show!

Finals of R-16 b-boys will be held in UK next month. R-16 main event will be held from July 11-13 in Seoul!
