Samcheong dong and couple story

Samcheong dong is popular for trendy coffee shops, out of box fashion stuff, traditional Korean restaurants and cute jewelry items for girls!
But it's a popular spot fit couples. There are many cafes which offer waffle deals with coffee for couples. Though it gets crowded on weekend but highly recommended itinerary for foreign tourists ^^
Things to do : walk around whole area, sip coffee, take photos , check out shops. See an exhibition in an art gallery etc.
How to reach there : exit 1 anguk station. Turn right after 100 m and walk straight

Seoul Metropolitan City Library

Old city hall has been converted into beautiful and spacious public library. There are 4 floors in it. 2nd floor has books on different topics such as arts, history , traveling etc. surveys and literature related to Seoul city can be found on 3rd floor. Global resources are placed in 4th floor where one can find literature related to many countries of world.

Membership ; foreigners can get membership card from information desk located inside book cafe 2nd floor.

Ice skating rink at City Hall

Cheapest, affordable and convenient spot for skating. It's 2000 Korean won per hour for adults ;) but make sure to arrive early !

Gangnam Style Stage for photo taking !

You can find Gangnam Style stage for taking pictures outside exit 11 of Gangnam Station! Make sure you pose as PSY dancing :)

A day out in Insadong/인사동

Insadong is famous for traditional Korean gifts and presents. But nowadays it is also famous for traditional Korean tea and food!
Here are couple of pictures

Temple Stay in Korea

I got chance to experience temple stay in Korea. It was Jeondeungsa Temple in Ganghwa island Incheon city 전등사 강화도 인천. The temple is located an hour and half drive from Seoul. Overall trip was organized and sponsored by KEB bank/Korean temple organization!

Activities for first day : vegetarian lunch , orientation, room allotment, Learn how to bow and greet each other, bell ringing ceremony, meditation yoga
Activities for second day: wake up at 4-', morning ceremonial services, breakfast, hike to mountain, community work, tea ceremony, lunch and departure

             Day 2 : Morning Ceremonial Services (Special prayers) started at 4.30 am! It was -13C at that time.

Hike to Seoul Namsan tower at Night time (fall 2012)

I hiked to Seoul namsan tower from haebongchong (Yongsan-dong 2 ga) with my friend at night time. It was fabulous. Check out pictures! 

Dynamic Busan and Korea Stay

Busan is second largest city of Korea, and it is located in its southern part. Busan is city of beaches and harbor. Here are few famous tourist "must visit" spots :

last but not least Yongdusan Park hosts Busan Tower ( somewhat similar to Seoul Tower). Lover can lock their love here :) It is located in Nampo-dong area. close to Fish market and Nampo-dong fashion street. 

Aquatic Show at Lotte Store Nampo-dong is unique and must see!
