Using Drums, Gitars, Piano with Korean traditional Instruments 

Concept of PURI is simple and straight-forward by using Korean traditional musical instruments with touch and glare of modern instruments. In conclusion  they have been successful to get attention of foreign audience. In my humble opinion, Korean youth prefers modern instruments over traditional instruments, therefore a performance like PURI can fascinate them. 1

I liked singing traditional songs with piano beat. It was unique yet mesmerizing.  We could feel Korean culture more closely and passionately.


Epic ending with their powerful dance performance :) Cheered by crowd. Even i saw some people dancing.

Introduction:   I participated in a volunteer activity called “Neighbors from Afar/ 교실에서 만나는 먼나라 이웃나라" orchestrated by Seoul Metropolitan Government. Details:    The lecture start time was 9am in the morning; therefore I had to leave early from Kyung Hee University ( 경희대학교 ) Suwon Yeongtong. The journey was pretty smooth because of good transportation system. It took one hour to reach Anguk Station. We were greeted by school staff as well as couple of pleasant shouts from kids!
